DESSY Dimitrova-Pawlas
FLUTE ARTIST
D&P Music is a musical formation established by the flautist Desislava Dimitrova and the cellist Szymon Pawlas in February 2019 in London, United Kingdom.
D&P Music performs classical music and welcomes diversity of nationalities, cultures and musicians to join them in variety of musical ensembles including duos, trios et al.
The formation's aim is to unite nations by means of classical music.
In May 2019 D&P Music had their debut concert at the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in London. Since then D&P Music have performed at various occasions such as the Coffee Concerts at the Polish Social and Cultural Association and participated in festivals such as The Day of Slavonic Literature and Culture at the Golden Square in Soho, London.
As supporters of numerous charitable causes, D&P Music have collaborated with international artists and performed in venues such as the Space Oddity Hall at Google, Millfield Theatre and St Charles Centre for Health and Wellbeing in London.
Dessy and Szymon are honored to include in their repertoire two works composed and dedicated to them - CORSO - divertimento for flute and cello composed by the Belgian composer Wilfried Westerlinck and Bolwarra for flute and cello by the Australian composer Alex Palmer.
The rest of D&P Music repertoire consists of Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary works as well as arrangements of Folk music for flute and cello duo.
